The inspiration for this unique artwork came from a Beach in Orepuki, New Zealand known as “Gemstone” because the beach is in a constant state of change with the surface shifting from sand to stones with the storms and tides. Actual gems have often been found on this beach.
The Artist envisioned what the shore would look like if crystal gemstones were embedded throughout it. The vivid color combination of gemstones used for this composition include brilliant blues, rich purples, and opalescent turquoises. The Blue Topaz is associated with wisdom and finding the perfect pathways to success and sweet opportunity. The Purple Amethyst is said to promote serenity and calm.
